Edwards Abstract Title Insurance Professional Earns Distinguished Certification

McAllen, TX – Edwards Abstract and Title Co. is proud to announce that Mark Anthony Lewis, McAllen Branch Manager and Escrow Officer has successfully completed the requirements and passed a rigorous examination to earn the CTIP (Certified Title Insurance Professional). This elite certification program is managed by the Texas Land Title Association.

“Attaining professional certification is a prestigious distinction in the title insurance field,” said Leslie Midgley, CAE, Executive Vice President and CEO of TLTA. “Certification showcases a title professional’s vast knowledge across 28 key subject matter areas and establishes them as an industry expert.”

To receive certification from TLTA, a candidate must meet eligibility requirements in work experience and education, then successfully pass a challenging examination. Each designation represents achievement and proficiency in the Texas title insurance industry and distinguishes these highly motivated individuals.

Mark joined the Edwards Escrow Department in 2019 and heads the full service operation located at 4428 N. McColl Road in McAllen. “On behalf of the Edwards Executive Committee, Management Team and staff, we want to congratulate Mark for his achievement in earning the CTIP certification,” said Nancy Bryant, Vice President of Operations & Human Resources.
