Edwards is pleased to recognize the Rock Star of the Week, Clay Sanchez. Clay has been a part of the Edwards Team since he walked in the door at the company’s downtown office in May of 1985.  Thirty five years later, Clay still chooses to call Edwards his second home.  He is as unique as his name and there’ a story behind that too!  He started his long career at Edwards as the company courier. He was a regular at the Hidalgo County Courthouse delivering and/or picking up recorded documents needed for research and closing transactions.  He was given the opportunity to serve Edwards as an abstractor and he got on to that pretty quickly as he enjoyed the challenge of the investigation of properties across the Rio Grande Valley.  Clay currently serves Edwards as Senior Title Examiner where he specializes in acreage. The intricate work of title examination and linking in the chain of title and ownership is interesting beyond compare to Clay. Knowing that the work done at the Edwards Title Operations brings the joy of home ownership, new business establishment or commercial growth to a community is invigorating. Clay is a member of the team who can always be counted on. His quiet demeanor and helpful attitude make him one of the most valued employees in the company. He is never too busy to help and cares about his quality of work. Clay was acknowledged and celebrated for his dedication and service to Edwards when he celebrated his 31^th anniversary with the company. A special luncheon was held in his honor where members of the Hidalgo County Team gathered to honor his service. He was presented with a special certificate of recognition and appreciation of  his high standards of excellence, leadership and commitment for his decades of service to the industry.  For these and many other reasons, Clay Sanchez is recognized as Edwards’ Rock Star of the Week.
