Edwards Abstract and Title Co. is pleased to recognize the Rock Star of the Week, Gloria Villarreal. She joined the Edwards Team in Edinburg at the Corporate Office in 2015 as Policy Administrator. Prior to that, and a brief hiatus from her title insurance career, Gloria held the position of Title Examiner.  She is a member of a two-person team who operate the policy department. Together with Policy Manager, Mel Casas, the dynamic duo process between 350-400 policies per month.  As a post-closing agent, Gloria is responsible for reviewing the documents after the closing. She must verify that everything has been signed, documented and notarized properly. Quality control is a very important aspect of Gloria’s responsibilities. After the documents have passed inspection, policies are issued and scanned and forwarded to the clients to keep for their records.  Gloria serves the Hidalgo and Cameron County escrow teams, and she does it with the knowledge and confidence that gives her the satisfaction of being a part of a new journey in someone’s life. Because the title insurance industry is a highly specialized niche, most training occurs on the job and Gloria is ready to learn more every day.  For these and many other reasons, Gloria Villarreal is recognized as Edwards’ Rock Star of the Week.
