Edwards is pleased to recognize the Rockstar of the Week, Benita Ramirez. Benita operates from the Brownsville office located at 1075 Paredes Line Road and serves Edwards Abstract and Title Co. as Tax Research Specialist. She started her career in 1999 with Southern Texas Title Company and remained onboard when Edwards merged with Southern in 2010. Benita’s knowledge and experience in dealing with multiple taxing entities across the Rio Grande Valley is commendable, and Benita has proven that she certainly knows her stuff! She has developed the special skills necessary to produce the tax information for commercial and residential transactions for the Edwards’ offices in Cameron and Hidalgo counties and other counties that Edwards serves.  As Tax Research Specialist, Benita is continuously checking, updating, gathering, calculating and making the tax information available to members of the Edwards Team in preparation of closing various transactions. Accuracy is vital in her position, and Benita takes her area of responsibility seriously.
